Artist's Description

Reconstruction from my series "Lost Poland". Tower was built in 1911 in Poznan as a part of an exhibition ( Today's Poznan International Fair ). It was the first skyscraper in Poland.For it's futuristic design Tower became an archer of "Babel Tower" from Fritz's Lang Metropolis (1927). Unfortunately the Steeple ( also called Wieza Gornoslaska ) was destroyed during serial bombardment in 1945. Never restored after World War II.
